The Weekday Division All-Stars defeated the Weekend Division All-Stars 17-8. Craig Bezjack from the Weekday All-Stars was awarded the CAHL All-Star MVP Trophy for his outstanding three goal and three assist performance. Steve Atkinson also had a fantastic game with one goal and six assists. Vince Pitt had an excellent night scoring four times and adding an assist. Rockets Chaynne Klatt and Scott Bouwman both had great games with four points apiece. Laird Dyck, Jordan Skinner, and Jesse Hove all had big three point nights. Jason Wawryk and John Maughan each got two points. Rob MacEachern scored a shorthanded breakaway goal midway through the second period. The great goalie tandem of Dorlan Schick and Phil Bonk turned aside 12 shots. Steve Luft had a excellent game for the Weekend Division All-Stars with four points. Rodney Aragon also had a great night scoring a hat trick. Joey Sewell had a big three assist game. Shaun Hook and Brodie Martin both got two points each. Laun Saunders added a goal and Jay Cloutier, Caley Smyth, Andy Chan, and Eric Nauss each picked up an assist. The top goalies of the Weekend Division B.J. Zafra and Vincent Law made a combined total of 41 saves. |
